This track will focus on the complex nitrogen cycles within marine systems, including sources, transformations, and sinks. Discussions will highlight the implications of nitrogen dynamics for ecosystem health and productivity.

This session aims to investigate phosphorus cycling in marine environments, addressing its sources, transport mechanisms, and biological uptake. The ecological consequences of phosphorus limitation and enrichment will also be examined.

This track will delve into the role of microbial communities in mediating biogeochemical processes in the ocean. Topics will include microbial metabolism, nutrient remineralization, and their impact on overall ocean productivity.

This session will assess factors influencing primary production in marine ecosystems, including light availability, nutrient dynamics, and temperature. The relationship between primary production and broader ocean productivity will be a focal point.

This track will present advancements in biogeochemical modeling techniques used to simulate nutrient cycles and ecosystem responses in marine environments. Participants will discuss the integration of observational data and model predictions.

This session will explore the sources, composition, and fate of dissolved organic matter in the ocean. The role of dissolved organic matter in nutrient cycling and its influence on marine food webs will be emphasized.
